About Me

Hi, I’m Kayla. An International Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Owner of K+K Lactation, &  Guide to All-Things-Postpartum.

I’m here to help you and your family start your breastfeeding journey off right with confidence, clarity & consistency. I’m not here to sell you on an empty promise or regurgitate breastfeeding tips that you could find within two minutes of Googling. It’s my goal to offer families successful, evidence-based support.

A little about me: I started K+K Lactation after embarking on my own breastfeeding journey and realizing that even things that are natural don’t always come naturally. After struggling with sleepless nights, way (way) too many hours Googling, latching issues, and eventually deciding to exclusively pump for my oldest's first year, I knew I had to make it my mission to help other breastfeeding parents get the support they need from the start. The reality is you don’t have to do it alone.

Let’s be real. Whether you’re a new parent or not-so-new, your baby is the most important part of your world & you’ve got feeding goals that are important to you. It’s my honor to help you meet those goals through our 1-on-1 sessions and exclusive access to classes where you will learn about pumping, transitioning to solids, going back to work, and more! You’ll also have access to me to answer any questions and support you through any hiccups along the way!

How do you know that we’re the right fit? It’s simple. You’re looking for a vibe. A feeling of genuine trust and respect that comes from being seen & understood. A confidence that comes from trusting a lactaction consultant who can help you create a solid plan. I get it. I want that for you. Plus, we both have the most important mission in common. To help you step into your parenting and breastfeeding journey with confidence, a clear vision, and a plan in place to face any challenges in those first 3-12 months postpartum.

If we can agree on that, then we’re off to the most important start!
